Amber Alert: Riders to the Rescue?

I ran across the following site (https://www.wirelessamberalerts.org/index.jsp) that allows one to receive text messages when there is an amber alert and a child has been abducted. It occurred to me that it would be a great public service for all riders (perhaps with the support of their local HOG chapters) subscribe. How cool would it be if as we were riding the twisties and superslabs, we spotted a license plate, etc.? It would be a wonderful thing to do...not to mention helping with some of the reputation issues that bikers have in some parts.

Curious if others think this is a good idea?

I think that is a great idea, thanks for posting the site. The more eyes out there the better the possibility of catching the person that abducted them and bringing them to justice.

Just too much of this going on.

Problem is when I'm riding my bike i can't hear or feal my phone most times.
