i would love to have an air filter cover that covers the entire filter (2016 FXDL Low Rider) has anyone ever seen one?

I never used a covered air filter.
Performance-wise, the open filter may improve a bit as you will get better intake airflow.
you will only need to clean and re-oil the filter more often as they will pick up more dirt and crud with no cover.

not only dirt but i have had serious problems with hard rain almost shutting the bike down (i don't have, nor can i find a rain sock) that's why i want a full cover
