Sorry to say Fearless but you should get a steady steam of oil out of it. It won't look like a ton of volume but it should be steady.
Better check for broken or scarred housing and gears or a stuck relief valve.

Did you align the oil pump properly when you put it back together. You can do it two ways but it's got to be done or it'll kill the oil pump right now if it's not already wiped out.

I wouldn't run it anymore until you at least verify that you have oil pressure with a gauge.
Any cheap mechanical gauge from the parts store will work and will come with the fittings you need to hook it up.
With the spark plugs out you should get at least 5 or 6 lbs just spinning it over with the starter.
