88 c.i. snort

at times during take off i will get a snort out of the engine. its a fuel injected 2005 road king with 6100 miles. if it were a carb model i would have an idea!!

I would consider a pin hole in the fuel line located within the fuel tank.

What's a "snort"..........is it backfiring through the throttle body? Have there been any other Mods done to the exhaust, air intake or any downloads to the ECM done?

If all is still stock ,you are probably hearing intake noise thru the snorkle in your a/c backing plate.Does it sound like a old 4 barrel carb kicking in?You could still hear the noise with SE or similar air cleaner.
