2009 Ultra Rear Tire Removeal

This is the first time of removing the rear tire on my 09 Ultra Classic. After reading in the service manual, It says you need to remove the rear brake caliper, is this correct ? On my 2006 Ultra, and all other baggers I've had, I just left the caliper intact, by speading the pads alittle I was able to drop the wheel right out.
My question is can the rear tire be removed with taking the caliper off.

When I did my rear tire I removed caliper so I dont know if You have to or not. I just looked at it now and it looks like caliper my hit tire if you dont remove it. The differance from your 05 and 09 is in 09 they put a mutch wider tire on that may be the diff in procrrdure.
