How difficult is it to install new handgrips?

I'm not real mechanically inclined, but I replaced mine on my 09 Ultra Classic. Of course the grips I installed were Harley (bought them New on Ebay at 75%of the dealer price), and I was able to follow the pretty simple install instructions that came with the grips. My biggest hurdle was over-coming the fear of doing it myself and being nervous about screwing something major up. Now I like the challenge of working on my own bike, of course with the appropriate manuals, and the great help & input from HDT!
