2003 Ultra Lost All Power

I have an 03 ultra classic electraglide,was coming home from biketoberfest rode about 15miles when my check engine light came on,noticed my amp gauge discharging then oil press gauge pegs out and lost all electrical power and bike died.Was able to jump and restart and go about 1 mile then same thing happened,act like a dead short any ideas?mose42
