I see alot of ads for 80/100 and up wattage headlamps, I've also heard that they melt head lamp plugs and wiring. I have an e-glide ultra and was wondering if anyone has any experience with the higher wattage lights?

2 this is my first e-glide. How do you get to the headlamp bulb? Do you take off the front of the fairing?

There was a post about this last week. Cant remember who.
Sucks to be old!!!!

I tried to find it , but no luck.

There is a good possibility of meltdown with high wattage bulbs. I believe new wires and a relay were installed to handle the power.

Next suggestion is buy an official HD manual for your bike. It makes working on your bike less stressfull.
