1995 FXDL Rear Wheel

Greetings:
Sorry if this has already been answered...I did search and found 2000 and newer. But, What size stock rear wheel is on a 1995 FXDL? I picked up a nice spoked rim in trade and would like to put it on. It has a brand new 140 tire on it too. So far I've read people putting 140 on and having no issues. So I'm hoping I'm in a good situation with this.

I'm thinking stock may be 16 x 3. But, not 100% sure.

Also, Do I just measure across the new spoke hub to get the measurement of that?...hoping to be the same as the stock size?

Thanks Jack. The report attached for rear wheels starts for year 2000. Is it safe to assume that mine is also the 16x3 even thought mine is a '95?

I want to say you have a 130 stock, you should have room for a 140, tho you want to check that wires for tail lights will not be a problem:s
 
I'm ok with the 140 fitting. My concern is the wheel fitting. Or at least it being a bolt on and go. I was hoping to do some measuring to determine that instead of pulling off the stock and just trying. Hoping to be able to bolt on and go and not have to worry about new spacers. Do you know how I measure the wheel to see if it is the same as stock? The 16 is good. It is the 3 or 3.5. (Don't know which is correct for stock wheel yet). I am assuming that number relates to hub somehow?

Any idea what year your new wheel is, or did I miss this?
 
No idea. :)

I got it in trade of a bunch of items. It was meant to go on a chopped evo hardtail (I think Pugho frame). Great looking chrome twisted spoke rim.

According to the chart in the above post, Harley used a 3" rim on Dyna's up to size 150. Another thing to consider is what size wheel bearings are in that wheel. HD has used several size axles on various models/years.
