1995 flhtcui does not get hot runs cool even on hot days?

my 1995 flhtcui does not get hot! runs cool even when it's hot outside...I am running a oil cooler on it that kicks on at around 195 degs. the bike never really gets hot, runs around 175 degs. on the oil temp. only in traffic when i am going slow. the bike is the first year for the fuel injection system. I am surprise how it runs really cool even on a 100 deg, day....were these bikes engineered to run cooler them other Harleys?

Read here,

For an EVO Harley-Davidson, the optimal oil operating temperature is generally between 200°F and 240°F (93°C and 116°C), with 230°F (110°C) often cited as a good target for consistent power and longevity. Temperatures consistently below 180°F (82°C) can lead to issues like water condensation in the oil, while temperatures exceeding 275-300°F (135-149°C) risk oil breakdown and accelerated engine wear

I have been using the V-twin oil 20-50w mineral oil. the bike runs well. good oil pressure 25 psi, really easy to start. I let it get up to temp 150 degs. before riding off. my temp gauge could be off I guess. it is a Harley Davidson dip stick temp gauge. I could check it to see if it is reading the right temps.

JMHO, but I would think the dip stick is not accurate. Even with an oil cooler with ambient temps of 100* or more, highway cruising at 70-80mph, oil temps could run 220*-250*; EVO or Twin Cam. Maybe get an infra red temp gauge and shoot the oil in the tank? If the HD dip stick temp gauge is digital, that is likely the problem; they are notorious for their lack of accuracy.

Thanks dolt! I bet that digital gauge is 20* off and should be reading 190* or so. I can check the temp with another gauge and compare the readings to see how bad it is off.
