I'm considering adding a "Forty-eight" to the stable and would like to punch up the power.  According to the HD website the 48 has 79 ft lbs of torque @ 4000 rpm the xl1200 has only 73.** ft lbs a 4000 rpm.  Bore & stroke are the same for both.  I found that interesting and don't understand why the xl would have less torque.  Anyway what would you guys recommend to punch up the power on a 48?  Cam? what one?  Exhaust?  Race Tuner etc?
