Thank you R44S for the update...clarity for sure, if Stage I w/ aircleaner + exhaust mods...some fueling mixture mod whether EFI or Carb equipped is necessary for a successful modification.

If the gas has been in the tank for a month or so that could be the issue. I'd try some octain boost or even just drain the tank down and fill it up with fresh high test.

No MAP is needed for slip-ons.

A clogged air cleaner will make the engine run rough at idle also.

As it turns out the air cleaner had also been changed to a high flow stage 1 that coupled with the screamin eagle pipes required a remap and it now rides much smoother. Thanks
