06 alarm ?

I just installed the siren II in my 09. The An 06 would have a different siren/alarm I imagine and you'd have to look in your owners manual to see if the chirp can be either enabled or not. The chirp mode whether enabled or not does not effect the alarm itself. Hope this helps.

If I'm not mistaken even with the chirp disabled it will still chirp twice when armed and blink when moved. Without the module it will only flash at least when armed or moved on my 08.

Without the audible Security Module option, bike will not chirp, if you have TSSM module, ICM is linked to the fob serial number. A pass code procedure then marries them, giving you the blink, ignition disable. Look in the self help section for the "Marrying procedure" if you replace the ICM.

Nothing special with the Security Module, but the version II has the chirp AND has the auto ARM feature enabled. You have to program it to disable the chirp (Domestic only, no option on the International version). :newsmile025:
