01 flht rocker box ticking

I recently changed my cam tensioners got my 01 flht v-twin back together I started the bike and heard ticking noise coming from rocker box I did not install adjustable pushrods I just used original ones that were from factory I have searched everything I can only find things on adjustables can anyone help and also my tach is not working I was told to change the crank sensor which I did and it still does not work it’s getting power I tested signal wire for any breaks it’s a solid connection Harley told me the tach itself won’t go bad can anyone help on that as well

When the lifters were taken out , oil leaks out. That's why you can hear this ticking noise ,at first startup. When I did this repair on the tensioners , I got the tip, to keep the lifters upright in a container with oil , preventing air to come in.
The ticking should go away after a while. Maybe you should put in "Rocker-lockers" , did this in my Ultra ,and had less mechanical noise . regards,
