Quick question -

How do I check my RPM's (for tuning purposes) when I don't have a Tacho?

There are hand held tachometers on the market.

+1 on Jeff's answer, I saw one the other day when I was in Harbor Freight, could not say anything of the quality, its kind of hit & miss with HF tools.

As stated above you can get a hand held tach. I got one off Amazon and use it at the shop. You wrap the wire lead around the front plug wire the more wraps the better. I do about 4 to 5 wraps then secure the wire lead with electrical tape. Start bike and you will see the rpm’s after you make adjustments remove electrical tape un coil the wire lead from from front plug wire and you are good to go.
