If there is suspension on the front when it compresses the tyre will foul on the fairing
if there is no front suspension that would be very difficult on the arms
however it hasnt been done before or has it ?

My vote is no. With choppers on the way out this is probably the next fad. Just look at all the bagger magazines. The customized baggers out number the stock version magazine.
