brother has 08 soft tail heritage with big bore kit this bike runs hot enough in traffic that it will shut down when it cranks it sounds like it has too much compression then turns over and fires if left sitting 2-3 days it wount crank all problems may not be related but local harley dealer cant find anything wrong

When it overheats, that's why it sounds like high compression because the pistons are tight in the bores. When you say it won't start after a couple of days, explain this better, does it crank normal or not crank at all? Spark or no spark? More info is needed if we are to help out.

wont crank at all car battery wont even crank it, its been at hd shop in columbia sc for week and a half, no codes set mechanic got it hot rode it cut it off just fine Jimmy went get it dead as door nail
