Which Cam??

I need some advice/suggestions on which cam will suit my needs. The bike is an 88", '03 FLHPI and I've got V&H Ovals, SE Breather, and SE Pro Race Fueler(NIB for $75.00)(Nothing installed yet)
I'm looking for passing power at hi-way speed(55-65MPH) without jamming it to redline, but don't want to loose too much down low. These are the 3 choices I'm looking at.
Crane 1-300...Duration 226/236.. Lift .505 TDC .147/.152 Int 13/33 Exh 42/14
Andrews TW26a Duration 226/230 Lift .490 TDC .138/.112 Int 11/35 Exh 41/09
Wood TW6 Duration 240/240 Lift .510 TDC .189/.178 Int 20/40 Exh 42/18

HP/TQ claims... Crane, idle -5000, Wood, idle- 5500 and Andrews,1800-5200

Would these cams fit the bill?? What is the redline on a stock ECM??

Is there another cam out there that may be a better fit??
TIA:)

Thanks Hobbit, Andrews is very popular, I'll probably install a .030 head Gasket, I guess another way to ask is, which one is in its sweet spot around 2800- 3000RPM??

May want to investigate a Wood 6-6 with a 4* advance gear.
Hits hard and carrys out. Best of both worlds.:small3d026:

FishHunter,I do like Woods cams, I think what I'm gonna do is put the Stage 1 on and run the bike a bit to see exactly where I want the cam to come on and where I'd like it to peak, then investigate which one has the characteristics I'm looking for.
HQ0034 is another one I'm gonna include as a possible.
Thanks for the suggestions fellas:)

one thing about the wood cam is when you decide to bump the ci up and some head work just takethe 4* advance out and your golden.
also got to love the Andrews always a winner

hi ?? for me i`m new to cams. i have a 09 ultra and i plan on cams.looking like wood 6-6

what is the reason for the 4 deg advance and what does it do for the bike

thanks

You can lower or raise the power curve on a cam using the 4*. It will also effect your cold cranking pressures too .

When I did the roller chain upgrade to my '99 Ultra I went with ANdrews 26N cams. Those cams, along with a set of V&H slip ons, a Dobeck TFI, and an Arlen Ness Big Sucker air cleaner give very good performance and the gas milage wasn't effected all that much. I am very pleased with the Andrews cams.
