Just received a totaled RK. Not sure of the year. The engine ID is FALP500055. Is this enough info for someone to tell the year of the scoot?
 
If you find the VIN number and then the 10th character in that number you will know the year.Starting in 1980 with A,B is 81,C is 82 and so on through the alphebet.After 06 it reverts back to numbers.
 
Try a program called "Vincoder" It's a free small download and it decodes your Harley VIN # Tells you year/engine etc.
