I'm unsure if this is the right section to ask but I'm stumped as to the cause.
Picked my 08 Nightster up last week and have been enjoying myself eversince, however today when I switched on the kill switch (not the starter) I heard what sounds like a loud hydraulic whining noise coming from the motor, I switched off the kill switch and tried again with the same result, the third attempt wasn't so loud so I cranked the engine and she started no problem.
Is this something I should mention to the dealer when I see them next or is it because I'm a noob and not yet accustomed to some of Harleys strange noises.
