have a 91 flh,volme control doesn't work.went to dealer.surprise..that part obsolete can't help you.any suggestions?who made the system?
 
Even though the part is obsolete, ask was the part number was. It will be listed even if obsolete.

Once you know the part number you may be able to find it through many other sources as NOS or old inventories. I have found several discontinued parts that way.
 
As Hoop says, just because manufacture discontinued does not mean there are little bits nestled in inventory at various dealers...and discounted too! Once you have the part number, try Zanotti's or other on line HD dealers who do volume business and may still have it. As the saying goes, doesn't hurt to ask and inquiries are "free"! Could be Biketronics was the OEM maker...! Looked on eBay and seems 97-07 and 08-09 are available, not anything that old...
