Just installed the V&H V02 naked intake, using the stock cover on my 09 RG. I'm switching over from my Ness Big Sucker that I ran since March 2009, just to try something different.

I'll post pics of the V02 unit when I have a chance.
Install was a breeze.
The V02 has breather bolts use hoses running into the venturi, vs Big Sucker has holes running through the backing plate with ridges to direct any oil into the intake.
The V02 venturi is billet and a heavy piece of material.
Seems like the the cover doesn't stick out as far the the Big Sucker.
I'll have to assess if I need to change my TFI settings any, but don't think I will.
The V02 filter is washable and re-oilable, similar to the Big Sucker. The Big Sucker filter was stamped, Made in USA on it, but couldn't find a stamp on the V02 filter.
More on the report later once I can take it out over the weekend.
Ride safe and have fun.
