Can anyone tell me the difference in the sound of a V&H Pro pipe with standard baffles vx. the competition baffle? Which is loudest, deepest, etc. thanks,
 
I have seen and heard a bunch of V&H pipes. Unless you are racing, the standar baffles will do you fine. Standards are going to be plenty loud and have the deep old school HD rumble most guys like. The comp baffles are meant to run high RPMs and going to be a little louder but tinny sounding in my opinion.
 
The race baffle has nothing wrapped around it so there is barely any back pressure I was told by my tuner to go back to the original one so it would have some for my build. According to anything I have read you must have some back pressure for best results, just like back in the day with the straight pipes, no good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Just my H.O. and .02 worth.
