Updating Fuel Tank

I am wondering if anyone has replaced a 2000-2006 5 gallon fuel tank with a later model 6 gallon. Is it possible without having to go a complete custom fabrication route? How much retrofitting was involved? Thanks for your input

The frame brackets are different. You would have to weld new brackets on the frame and change the seat.
