Tubeless tires

This may be a dumb question. I bought a Dunlop American Elite rear tire for my 2010 Softail Custom and so far had no problem with it. I just saw that it is rated as a tubeless tire and I have spoked wheels with tubes. Does anyone feel that this is a problem. I looked at other Dunlop specs and some of the tires are rated as tubed / tubeless. I can possibly see a problem going tubeless on a tube only tire. Any thoughts?

I think You can put a tube in the tubeless tire and You are good to go.Don't run it tubeless,You will have air leakage with spokes.

TUBELESS TYRES

Tubeless tyres require a special bead seat, because the beads have to form an airtight seal on the rim. Not all cast wheels, aluminium or magnesium, are suitable for tubeless tyre fitment. Do not mount tyres without tubes, unless the wheel manufacturer recommends it. If a tube is inserted, it is then possible to fit a tube-less tyre to a tubetype rim.
