Tour-Pak Rack Bag

Hey everyone. I trade in my 2013 road King classic for a 15 cvo limited I'm looking into getting Tour-Pak Rack Bag but my concern is cracking the rack bolts. If you fill up one of the rack bags with the rack hold. I know it says 10lb maxs

On my 07 I pack our clothes and put them in the tourpak Then pack the bags with the leftover clothes and leathers. Raingear and cooler on the tourpak rack. No cracks in over 100,000K

We use this from H-D # 93300006 tour-pac luggage. Very good item.
It's on 3rd bike now. We have many times had more than the 10 lb limit
with the luggage and adding the leathers to the top of it. Never any cracking on the 08 or the 13 and I'm sure the new bike will hold up just as well.
You still need to decide what the weight limit you stop at for safety reasons.
I don't allow the lid to go over center or let the weight sit on the hinges very long with the added weight on the rack.
The luggage goes on and off very easy after you have the straps adjusted, be sure nothing is loose enough to touch the paint, even when you use the rain cover that is in a side pouch, it will leave rub marks.

In case anyone wonders what is in the tree, they are shoes[/ATTACH]
