I have a 2008 xl 1200c with about 7,000+ miles. All of a sudden I have a lifter ticking at startup. The manual says this is normal and it does go away in about a minute. Its under warrenty but have a 2 hour trip to the dealer and need to leave it there. So holding off for awhile. My question is has anybody else had this problem so up? Its the rear cylinder exhaust. Bike runs just fine.
