Threads on main and aux shafts

I have a 2009 Ultra Classic. I have looked in the service manual about the threads on the main and aux shafts behind the trany cover where the shift cable is at. Manual does not tell. I know the main shaft is right handed threads but does anyone know what thread the aux shaft uses (right or left). I am thinking the threads should be left handed since the aux shaft turns the backward and not forward like the main shaft. Anyone know for sure?

Thank you,

Tim

Incorrect...

The trap door ball bearing inner race retaining nuts on the mainshaft and countershaft are standard thread.

My mistake, reread the OP again and you are correct. When I first read it I thought the OP was referring to the clutch and main shaft in the primary.

Thanks for catching that.
