What do most people use for a tach. Harley dealer up here want 589 for combo. Does the fork mounted ones work just as good? Also he tells me you cant get lowers for dyna low rider, mine is a 07

I have a fork mounted unit, no problems, check out J&P Cycle parts, they have several types, for less than MOCO if you can live without the logo.

What did you end up getting? I am loking for one and the HD mounting bracket won't fit my fat mini-apes.
