tach froze on 2500 rpm

2010 SG, had new stereo/speakers put in a year ago. Everything works as should except tach. Tach backlight flickers when switch is on. Tach is frozen on 2500 rpm, with switch on, or, off. Runs fine.

This is what it is doing. The flicker is more like a steady consistent flash.

I would bet that if you pulled the outer fairing off and check connectors, there is one loose or not securely attached properly behind tach.....
