:small3d023: I have a 89 heritage I took the starter off and tested it and it was good so i changed the starter modual and still nothing. Is the green wire that clips into the starter the Ground wire.

No it is not a ground. If you had a DC voltmeter you should read 12v dc to ground when you hit the starter.

The green wire that goes here?

Had that issue. In my case the wireing broke internaly. Some have said the contact needs to be removed from the plastic sleeve and re crimped for a good connection.

The green wire is the one that activates the starter. Try this. Make sure bike is in neutral! Remove the green wire from the terminal. Attach a jumper wire to the terminal and touch the other end to the battery cable attached to the top of the starter. If it cranks ok then starter is good and the problem is in starting circuit. If not then problem with the starter. Good luck.
