How hard or what all involved in replacing starter drive on 07 Dyna WG? Sometimes it makes a awful grinding noise stop hit it again and starts right up. It is a hit and miss thing sometimes it will do it 2 in a day. Then go a week no problem. Thanks

Are you sure that the grinding sound you are hearing is coming from the back of the primary around the starter pinion, and not towards the front of the primary?

Check the ring gear, 07 was a problem year for starters and ring gears:s
