Squeeking at carb???

I know what it is, I just can't stop it. I have replaced the seals at carb/intake tube but won't seal completely. I can only tighten screws so much. What do I do?

Did you replace the clamps? Maybe they are stretched?

no, did not think they would stretch

I wasn't sure what they looked like, sometimes clamps will elongate holes or the tabs will bend in. Depending on what type of clamp it is. Maybe intake rubber tubes are old?

Ok, I just looked at the parts fiche for your bike. I was thinking rubber tube intake for some reason. If the clamps are new I am at a loss but I am sure you will get some better answers here soon. Best of luck and sorry I couldn't be any help.

Should I replace clamps? Maybe go to allen head screws for more torque?

If they are original clamps it couldn't hurt, if you change to allen screws just make sure you don't over tighten them.
