tourbox Senior Member Oct 18, 2012 #3 Pretty much the same.I don't recall item #4 on the earlier Xl's.And you probably don't have the hose from air cleaner to the filter housing. '79 is pretty much pre EPA stuff. There were also a few years where the XLs didn't have a filter. tourbox
