Hey troops, need some help. left the house this morning, got about 6 miles from the house speedometer fell back to "0". a mile or so later work fine. 20 miles later it took a break again, then the little transmission come on. trans ligfht went off, speedometer worked again....Whats going on???:shock

Hey Bud...
yes, I have a little Trans light that illuminates everytime I start the back, then after a sec or two it goes off....well i came on with me running down the highway after the speedometer fell to "0"

sure it was the engine light .. never seena trans light .. try pulling the codes

Pretty sure your talking about the "check engine" light which indicates a possible code set. Most likely cause of your speedo problem is the vehicle speed sensor that is mounted on the tranny. A problem here would set a code.

I agree with the speed sensor. Just curious as to what trans lube you are using in this bike?
