Speedometer Diagnostics
We are finding that quite a few technicians are not aware of the diagnostic feature
available in the 1999 and later speedometers. Any diagnostic codes set in the
speedometer can be very helpful to diagnostics. Enter diagnostics by depressing
and holding the reset button while turning on the ignition, then release the button.
For more information on the process, codes and their meaning, refer to the
Instruments section of the appropriate Diagnostic Manual.
