I;m selling my 96 custom sportster .. Got a text message to contact them at a yahoo.com amail and this was there response"

Hello,
I am happy to hear that the item is still for sale,Thanks for your response,I am working as an engineer on a oil platform now with Tee Kay Corporations ,I insisted on PayPal because i don't have access to my bank account online as i don't have internet banking, but i can pay from my PayPal account,as i have my bank a/c attached to it.I will like to ask you the following questions.

Are you the real owner?

What is the present condition?

How much is the final asking price?

Do you have PayPal ID which payment can be made to? I am located at Maryland and i do have a shipper agent that will come over for the pick up if that is okay by you.

Email me with your pay pal invoice for payment. I will be looking forward to read from you asap

Best Regard

I'd say yes. This day and time who doesn't have online banking especially if you are gone from home due to work. Another point.. not dissin' your bike but why would he want to buy and ship a sporty? I'd imagine there are dozens for sale in and around his area. Beware!!

kinda what I was thinking too

Sound like a scam to me. Even in this day and time I DON'T have a online bank account, so I would say that it may sound weird but it is possible. By the way I don't have a pay pal account either.

If you wrote the message that was sent to you word for word take a look at what was said or lack there of. I've seen these kind of messages before and they have all been sent from countrys like Asia or the Phillippines. If I were you I'd run and don't look back.

Doesn't know the price and willing to pay already? Scam. I don't know how they scam with Paypal, but I would not want to find out 1st hand.

I smell a RAT trying to skim your info JMO I am finding it hard to trust on line stuff much any more, with out an official web site or an I P tracker Run Away:s

Agree with all of the posts that suggest you run, not walk away from this one. Also paying with Paypal would incur some serious charges on your part as the payee. At any rate, it sounds like a scam....
