Solo seat question

I am getting a Corbin Hollywood solo seat for my 08 custom. On the rear fender there is a clear film covering the section under the stock seat. is it easy to remove? or do most people leave it on?

I pulled mine off with no problem, you can also use W D 40 to remove the glue and it doesn't hurt the paint.

Mine came right off without heat or chemicals of any kind.......all I did was wax the fender as soon as I got it off.....looks great......
