Softail Slim: Outside Gainesville (FL) Harley-Davidson. Finished my test ride and am inside trading paper for iron.

Replaced the rigid/shovel I built in 1995:

Yeah, I was ready to upgrade my ride to an electric start... Shovel now lives with my son.

Both are great looking bikes. Was the slim comming out that made you get a new bike or were you thinking of getting rid of the shovel for a while?

Specs say it is a 103B engine & comes from the factory with almost 99 foot lbs of torque. That's a bunch.

My knees insisted I get an electric start... When I saw and rode the Slim, I knew my kickstart days were over. (The shovel is an 84" stroker I built on Delkron cases.)
