Shopping Warranty Cost

I am approaching the end of my original 2 year warranty, and I have spoken with 3 dealers and Harley Davidson, they all seem to quote the same price.

I am curious if any of you have found a dealer that is willing to earn the business and come in lower then the usual cost.

Example for the 5 year coverage its 1149.00

Any experience with this is greatly appreciated.
 
My previous bike they started off at $1600, dropped to $1300 and I got it for $1000 when they saw I wasn't interested in their pricing . Sold that bike and got a refund of the balance of the warranty.
 
Is it standard that you can get refunds for unused warrany's or was that a isolated deal?
 
It depends on the plan itself, I wouldn't say it was standard but if you check with the company that issues the policy, they can give you a better idea. That's how I found out.

I got a refund of the unused portion when I traded in my Sporty. I believe it's pretty much standard but I wouldn't assume anything - read the fine print!
