Service manuals on cd

Not for a Harley, but for both my cars I did. Key point to look for when buying a CD version is (1) Does it have a Search function (some Don't) and (2) Does it have 'Hot Links' to the key words you searched on.

I can tell you from experience, that if it does not have those two features, you will go crazy trying to look something up.

But most of the time, CD versions of manuals are cheap and it won't be a big lose if you hate it.

Hoop!

But I like to be able to read from the comffy of my chair and get familiar with the item in question and be able to print it off and go out to the shop and get r done without messen up a nice shop manuel.

I got my manual in cd format before I bought a paper one, they both have their uses I can print a page for referenceor for a buddy who doesn't have one,but I prefer the paper manual.

Get the HD manual. It is far better then the Clymer's manual IMO

Got 2, both off E-Bay. One for me and one for the son-in-law. Both work great. Paid 13.99 for mine so why pay more.
