service manual download? Help!

hi all, new to this forum...
what do i have to do to download one of the service manuals on the site here? My buddy and his wife - recently hit by the hard times that this economy is smacking so many with - are in dire need of the 2006 softail service manual. I'd like to grab it for them - free, if possible.
any help/advise is appreciated.

You must be a member here for 90 days and have 150 or more significant posts (read this as "more than one-liners or short phrases that seem designed to increase post count") BEFORE you can download at this site. This is a fairly recent rule - last couple of years or so.

If you want anything faster, I suggest you surf the Internet and find some of the other folks that came on here and immediately downloaded all the manuals off our site and are now selling them online. I think they are around $10 or so.

You an also go to bikebandit.com for parts manuals but they have there part numbers insted of oem ones, however its nice to look at a parts break down when working on something.

I found one on Ebay pretty cheap; I use it all the time.
