I have changed the bag guards on my Electra. Only simple hand tools are involved. Often there is good prices on ebay. If you don't buy a complete kit, make sure all parts are compatable. Some require 2 mounting holes in the crash bar, some only 1.

That's why I want them, to save the paint.

Put a set on my EG cost me $75. bucks on craigslist for complete set plus the two forward leather bags. Basic hand tools to install, real easy project about an hour to do.

Easy deal & cost was right @ $350 for all the parts...enjoy.
