RTV vs double-sided tape
RTV-1: Tape-0
Using double-sided tape to attach the chrome rings around the instrument gages was not working for me today. I got some clear RTV and prest-o, chang-o!!! The rings are on. In the morning the RTV will be set and I'll be good to go.
I also use RTV to install the Kyuryakyn grips too.
RTV works good and lasts a long time. You just got to let it set 12-24 hrs.
