i have a pulsation in my front brake should i turn the front rotor or replace it thanks mac

If its rotor run out causing you pulsing then I would replace it.

Warped rotor usually causes pulsating brakes replace the rotor is the best way to go

It is not easy to check BY eye, hard to see IF not really way out.

A machinist dial indicator is the best way then you can see how much it is out.

I just took my 09 in under warranty and they replaced one of my front rotors, there tolerance is anything over .004 is bad and .012 change Bad.

Mind didn't cause the brake to pulse like Most do. The front tire BUMPED every time the brake was applied.

Motorcycle rotors can be machined but the set up and runout check before and after just not worth the effort, Replace them

Replace them with floating rotors...once you go floating you will never go back.

just fitted floating rotors to my 2003 RK mainly to eliminate brake squeal-braking was immediatley better even during bedding in and now complete the braking is far more postive with good feel through progressive application. definitely a worthwhile mod!
