You can't really steer those dragsters anyway, the wheel is just there for the driver to hold on to.

Happened to my nieghbours kid - second time ever dragging & steering wheel came off - this kid is 9yrs old in 13 ft 5hp rail dragster - his dad was pretty happy he shut it down without a second thought
