I am looking at getting a detachable fairing.
I found one that seam reasonable, and was wondering if anybody has used them, or know somebody that did.

I found an older Hoppe fairing with no radio or speakers. Attaches like the stock windshield. I love it. The bike seems to handle better in the wind and when those big approching trucks go by. I put a Clearview curved windscreen on it - they work well. I would recommend Clearview (easy to deal with).

The one i am loking at from Reckless, is painted to match, with IPOD radio, speakers, for about $ 1,300
They say there is a warranty, but i take that with a grain of salt...

Not a bad price considering it is alot cheaper, than others.
From my research, it seems guys leave the original companys, like Hoppe, dragonfly and start their own...because they all give the same specs, and design.
I just wanted to see if anybody heard of their quality.

Check out "wideopencustom". They have what seems to be a nice fairing and the price is reasonable. I almost bought one but decided not to spend the money and then found a used Hoppe. Good Luck
