I'm working on my new chrome sliders right now.
Don't underestimate the need for the proper tools.

For removal of the seat pipe screw that 12mm hex key socket must actually be a long one like he has in the video. A short one will work on the side with the end cap, but the other leg you must reach farther and the short hex key socket will not work.
The impact wrench is also most necessary for removal of the seat pipe screw.

The 2" PVC pipe is likely the best solution for not having a proper seal driving tool.

All in all a very good video series for stepping you through replacement of your slider or a complete rebuild of your forks.

Great video of this. One question though. Can this be done on the bike with out taking the whole thing apart? Cant you just do the bottom slider and then do the Mighty-Vac method of fluid replacement?

Thanks for posting
