Replacement exhaust compatibility:Spstr1200

Hi all, just joined what looks like a really great forum - hope I can contribute helpfully in future; but today i have what i hope is a straightforward query: I am running a HD Sportster Custom 1200, 2003 (I'm new to Harleys, previously a BMW man), on a tight budget. Exhaust is blowing out loud, close up to the front cylinder outlet port. Got it welded last year, but it's gone again; considering bidding (e-bay) for: -

"2007 57 plate harley davidson 1200 nightster / sportster exhaust pipes, mounting bracket and rear boxes"

- but neither seller nor I are certain this standard system would be compatible with my bike, although we guess it would . . .can anyone offer confirmation? Or an alternative, relatively pain-free remedy for my problem?

Thanks a lot Hobbit, pretty (EDIT) snappy reply! Mine is rigid motor, so i guess I'll need to get it off something pre-2003. I've got so much to learn about Harleys, I begin to get scared and think of getting my old boxer back on the road. Appreciate the help.
