Replaced Stock Exhaust

I just recently replaced my 2003 HD exhausts with V&H Long shots. Highly recommended. After putting on new ones. Realized there is a stock muffler Mounting bracket. Wanted to put something on that 2 holed mounting bracket. Anyone have this problem? Considered a right side tool box or maybe a floor board. I even thought of removing the bracket. Opened for any suggestions.

Cant help with ur hole problem but what do you think of the sound of the longshots,just had them fitted to my 09 heritage,awsome sound,left the stock baffles in,dont think they need to come out,good luck with ur hole problem,Ha Ha (only jokin mate)
